Conservation themed artwork by fourth- and fifth-grade students in Orange and Osceola counties will grace two OUC-sponsored calendars for 2025. With a focus on water in Orange County and energy in Osceola County, the calendars showcase the importance of conservation in our community.

Each fall, students throughout Orange County submit water conservation-themed artwork for consideration.

Gabriel G., a Stonewyck Elementary student, took the calendar cover honors with his artwork titled “Save Water and Save Life on Earth.”

The Water Color Project, which promotes water conservation, is open to students in Orange County schools.

Orange County Public Schools student Gabriel G.’s drawing will grace the cover of the 2025 Water Color Project Calendar.

This year, a new Watts Savings Project calendar focusing on energy conservation was introduced, and students from Osceola County Public Schools within OUC’s service area provided artwork and inspirational conservation messaging.

Vanellope M., a Lakeview Elementary student, took top honors in Osceola County with her cover artwork titled “Use sunlight to help you in the darkness.”

The artwork of Vanellope M., a student at Lakeview Elementary, will be featured on the cover of the 2025 Watts Saving Project Calendar.

The complimentary calendars will be available, while supplies last, in mid-January. For Water Color Project calendars, please go to OUC’s headquarters at Reliable Plaza, 100 W.
