As part of our strategic initiative to provide a quality customer experience, OUC launched a new alerts program and online outage map.
You can now sign up for phone, text and email outage alerts. The alerts keep you informed throughout the restoration process following an electric or water issue. Specifically, you’ll receive updates including the cause, anticipated restoration time, and crew status.
In addition, an enhanced online outage map can provide more detailed information when an outage occurs. You can learn how many customers are affected and see live weather radar.
Reporting a problem to us is easier, too. Just text “OUT” to “myOUC” (69682).
OUC continues to seek innovative ways to better our customers’ experience, and this launch is just the beginning. Future phases will include billing alerts and tailored consumption information.
