Every year, thousands of Orange County Public School students showcase their artistic talent through OUC’s Water Color Project, an education outreach initiative that seeks to inspire students in grades 4 through 12 to create artwork depicting water conservation-related themes. This year’s contest drew talent from all over the county, with 20 schools and over 2,600 students participating in the calendar artwork contest, and 20 schools and 162 students submitting entries in the rain barrel painting contest. The winners were recognized Thursday evening at an awards ceremony at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. After the awards were presented, students enjoyed a performance of Seussical: the Musical. Congrats to all our winners, and thank you to everyone who contributed their time and talent to this year’s project!
