In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. OUC participated in several community events to honor the life and legacy of the civil rights leader.

To kick off the community events, OUC leaders attended the 39th Annual MLK Luncheon at the First Baptist Orlando on Friday, January 17. The annual event supports students with college scholarships, mentoring programs and other educational initiatives through the I.S. Hankins/F.A. Johnson Education Foundation.

On Monday, January 2, over 100 OUC employees and their families teamed up with U.S. Hunger, the Orange County MLK Initiative and Orlando Mayor’s MLK Commission to pack 1 million meals for families across Central Florida and an additional 100,000 meals to benefit those impacted by the California wildfires.
