A team of 65 OUC employees and family members cleaned and restocked shelves at United Against Poverty’s grocery store on Saturday, June 24. The Employee Volunteer event focused its energies on helping the local nonprofit’s Member Share Grocery Program which serves families in need of food assistance. United Against Poverty also provides crisis care, case management, transformative education, household subsidy, employment training and placement, personal empowerment training and referrals to other collaborative social service providers.
