On May 8, OUC employees joined more than 14,000 Orlando professionals at Lake Eola Park for the 30th iteration of the AdventHealth Corporate 5K – an annual event that celebrates workplace wellness, community engagement, and a spirit of friendly competition.
Despite persistent evening rain, Team OUC showed up strong, with 226 registered runners and walkers taking part in the race – OUC’s largest team ever, and 12 more participants than last year. Their presence was a powerful reflection on OUC’s commitment to employee wellness and community service.
More than just a 3.1-mile run, the Corporate 5K supports local non-profits like Track Shack Youth Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
Runners interested in participating in a similar event can focus on training toward the OUC Half-Marathon Weekend, which will take place over two days this year: December 6 and 7.
