Conversations about OUC’s energy future will continue with the addition of two community forums. Customers and the community are invited to attend and offer feedback on our Electric Integrated Resource Plan (EIRP), a roadmap to meeting electric energy generation and transmission needs for the next 30 years.

The meetings will take place:
Tuesday, January 14 – 6:30 p.m.
Englewood Neighborhood Center
6123 La Costa Drive, #2931
Orlando, FL 32807
(Traducción al español disponible)

Thursday, January 16 – 6:30 p.m.
The Pavilion at Avalon Park
13401 Tanja King Boulevard
Orlando, FL 32828

Please RSVP via email to RSVP@ouc.com. RSVP required to attend. Dinner will be provided. Limited seating available.

The EIRP will define our electric future in a way that balances reliability, affordability, sustainability and resiliency.

Additional forums have been added after three December engagement events in Orlando and St. Cloud yielded strong community interest in learning more about the EIRP, why it’s important, how it will affect our community, and the work done to date. The forums also offer OUC customers the opportunity to express their views about our electric generation future as we continue to support the City of Orlando’s clean energy goals.

Results of the EIRP study are expected to be available in June 2020.
