For OUC’s 2022 Executive Day of Giving on Jan. 11, leadership team members went door to door – 205 in all – to deliver bags of personal care items to formerly homeless residents of Pathlight HOME’s Maxwell Garden apartments. Each bag OUC leaders packed and handed out included toothpaste and toothbrush, shaving razor, shampoo, a pair of socks and snacks.
The 2022 OUCares Workplace Giving Campaign, Lend a Helping Hand, also focuses on supporting Pathlight HOME, a local nonprofit organization that offers housing and aid services to the chronically homeless. In addition, Pathlight HOME is a designated beneficiary of OUC’s 2022 Charity Golf Tournament in February.
“We really appreciate what you’re doing for our residents,” said Gabriella Trevino, Community Engagement and Development Manager of Pathlight HOME, as Leadership Team members entered the Maxwell Garden complex to begin distributing the care packages.
