OUC volunteers helped Clean the World package soap that will be sent to Ukraine.
No one got their hands dirty at this OUC Community Volunteer Project.
OUC employees and family members – 31 in all – spent four hours on Saturday, July 16, 2022, helping Orlando-based global nonprofit Clean the World Foundation process 20,000 bars of soap bound for war-ravaged Ukraine. Volunteers unwrapped packaged soap donated by area hotels, sorted them and then boxed the processed logoed bars of soap stamped Clean the World (right). Besides being good, clean fun, this quarterly volunteer project merged sustainability with OUC’s No. 1 corporate value, Make Safety First.
Clean the World distributes recycled soap and hygiene products to impoverished people around the world to help prevent hygiene-related illnesses and deaths.

Volunteers processed 20,000 bars of soap in four hours.
