Adding attic insulation is one of several efficiency upgrades that qualifies for an OUC rebate.
An old or inefficient air conditioning unit or leaky ducts could be driving up your monthly utility bills this summer. Or perhaps you could better insulate your home against the incoming heat by adding attic insulation or replacing your windows.
OUC customers interested in making efficiency improvements to their homes are encouraged to take advantage of residential rebates offering substantial savings on several upgrades. For example, you could save anywhere from $90 to $1,630 on the installation of a new heat pump with a 15 to 23 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER). Other rebates include $100 for duct repairs or replacement, 10 cents per square foot on attic insulation of R-30 or higher, and $1.50 per square foot for new ENERGY STAR® windows.
