As we continue to work toward our goal of net zero CO2 emissions by 2050 while maintaining reliable and affordable electric service, solar energy will play a critical role.
The TruNet Solar program, which starts July 1, 2025, will compensate customers with rooftop solar systems at a rate that’s equitable to all customers. Additionally, soon OUC will offer a rebate for battery energy storage systems that will allow energy generated during the day to be stored for use at night or when there is cloud cover.
