Central Florida’s premier family-friendly holiday celebration has kicked off on the expansive three-acre lawn in front of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. All the stops have been pulled out to make this the can’t-miss community celebration of the season.

The centerpiece is the nightly All Is Bright Celebration, powered by OUC—The Reliable One. More than a tree lighting ceremony, at 6 p.m. local dignitaries and special guests will be invited to trigger a sparkling, choreographed light show that spans the entire plaza.

The festival is in full swing nearly every day now through January 4, and everyone’s invited to join the fun. Admission and entertainment are free, so come enjoy the festivities – just keep in mind that food and drinks are available for purchase.

Festive fun features include:

  • Santa’s Story Nook, with Santa and Mrs. Claus, elves and Dickens Carolers
  • Live concerts and other performances from national and local acts, as well as high school choirs
  • Fire pits – perfect for warding off winter’s chill and roasting s’mores
  • Soap bubble snowfalls
  • Tasty treats, including hot cocoa, coquito, barbecue, burgers, waffles and more
  • Classic holiday movies on the big screen like The Polar Express and A Christmas Story
  • Lawn games and festive crafts for kids
  • Holiday gift market
  • A carillon made up of nearly four tons of bronze bells adding a festive, high-energy soundtrack for all the fun
  • And much, much more…

The Frontyard Holiday Festival at Dr. Phillips Center is closed December 8, 15, 25, and January 1. Depending on the day, the hours of operation are 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., or 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., then 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
