Fabian Richards – Manager of Distribution Planning and Reliability Engineering

 As the Manager of Distribution Planning and Reliability Engineering, Fabian Richards is responsible for leading all efforts related to maintaining a safe, reliable, cost-efficient and sustainable electric distribution system. These efforts include distribution planning, electrical engineering, and maintaining power quality and standards. Richards leads his team in exploring and promoting the integration of advanced distribution automation technologies that align with OUC’s strategic goals.

In his previous position as an Electrical Engineer he designed and managed the installation of distribution electric equipment for residential and small commercial customers.  He then progressed as a Project Electrical Engineer where he worked with developers in designing electrical distribution systems for large residential and commercial developments.

Richards holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
