  • Do use indoor lights and decorations inside only.
  • Do water your live tree daily.
  • Do keep candles on solid, steady surfaces and away from flammable items.
  • Do watch out for overhead power lines when decorating the exterior of your house.

  • Don’t overload outlets or power strips.
  • Don’t leave decorations and lights on all night or when you are away from home.
  • Don’t keep a tree if the needles are brown or have fallen.
