OUC Charity Golf Tournament Tees Up Over $50,000 for Local Nonprofits

On March 8, OUC employees, retirees, family members and friends participated in the annual OUC Charity Golf Tournament at Eagle Creek Golf Club, raising an impressive $50,000 for local nonprofits. This year’s event pushed the tournament’s lifetime contributions to more than $1 million since its inception in 1995.

The tournament isn’t just about the competition, it’s about making a difference. The funds raised support nonprofit organizations in Orange and Osceola counties dedicated to social impact, economic development, educational outreach, and environmental stewardship.

A Winning Round for the Community
“This tournament is more than just a day on the course — it’s a testament to the power of partnership and community,” said Linda Ferrone, Chief Customer & Marketing Officer. “Each year, we come together with our sponsors and participants to support organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives. We are proud to continue this tradition of giving back.”
