Stock Up and Save on Hurricane Supplies

There are now two opportunities to save when shopping for your hurricane preparedness kit. The first disaster sales tax holiday begins May 27 and runs through June 9. The second sales tax holiday begins Aug. 26 and lasts until Sept. 8. Both tax holidays are implemented to help Floridians purchase hurricane supplies during the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane season.

$10 or less

$15 or less

$20 or less

$25 or less

$30 or less

$40 or less

$50 or less

$60 or less

$70 or less

$100 or less

$3,000 or less

The sales tax holiday does not apply to the rental or repair of any of the qualifying items. Additionally, the sales tax holiday does not apply to sales in a theme park, entertainment complex, public lodging establishment or airport.
