Gregg Sampson joined OUC – The Reliable One in 1990 as a part-time customer service representative and has since held several customer-focused positions.  In 2018, he assumed his current role as Senior Coordinator for Community Relations.

Sampson is responsible for project management and implementation of key residential and commercial programs and programs associated with water and energy conservation. He also assists with community outreach initiatives, including the Oct. 11, 2019, opening of OUC’s Avian Protection Program exhibit at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland. Previous positions at OUC include Senior Customer Service Representative, Chief Cashier to Account Representative III, and Conservation Coordinator.

His career highlights include helping OUC obtain grants from St. Johns River Water Management District to fund a residential irrigation efficiency rebate program, aiding the design and funding for the Rain Harvest Garden and Living Wall project at OUC’s Gardenia location, and creating the pilot for OUC’s Multifamily Efficiency Program.

He is the 2006 recipient of the Black Achievers Adult Achiever Award and a longtime student of martial arts disciplines. Sampson earned a Bachelor of Science in international affairs at Rollins College.
